Burnley Football Club was founded on the 18th May 1882, with it first becoming professional in 1883. Burnley have been the champions of England twice, in 1920–21 and 1959–60, have won the FA Cup once, in 1913–14, and have won the FA Charity Shield twice, in 1960 and 1973. After stints in out of the top division, we have have cemented ourselves as an established Premier League team following our famous Championship Title win in 2016!
